Timothy H. Ward, MD
Dr. Ward is a South Georgia native raised in nearby Mitchell County. He attended Valdosta State College graduating with honors in Biology and Chemistry. Dr. Ward received his Doctor of Medicine Degree from the Medical College of Georgia in Augusta, Georgia. His Internship and Residency in Anesthesiology was completed at Eugene Talmadge Memorial Hospital and University Hospital in Augusta. Dr. Ward had subspecialty training emphasis on regional anesthesia/pain managemet techniques. This subspecialty of Anesthesiology eventually became the recognized subspecialty of Pain Management with specialized training and certification in the late 1990's.
Dr. Gilbert Chandler
Dr. Chandler has been practicing pain management in Gainesville, Georgia for over twenty years and comes to Thomasville to be closer to his family. Originally from Tallahassee, he is a graduate of Florida State University and University of Florida College of Medicine. He is board certified in pain medicine and anesthesiology along with being board eligible in addiction medicine. Dr. Chandler's expertise lies in pain problems ranging from the acutely herniated disc to cancer-related pain. He has been both published and has spoken nationally and internationally on spine disorders. Dr. Chandler currently serves on the Georgia Composite Medical Board and the Georgia Society of Interventional Physicians.
